FIRST IMPRESSIONS

First Impressions Count is the title of an event to encourage everyone to assess their responsibility about making people welcome at worship. The premise is to help us to make the most of the first impressions which people get so that they will be encouraged to come back.

The event is being held in two places:

Sat. 15 July 10.00-12.30 at Menston Methodist Church

Tues. 18 July 19.30-21.30 at West Wakefield Methodist Church

The event will be led by Viv Morrissey and Bev Hollings.

The event will be free if you register before the 10th of July. Otherwise the cost will be £2.50 payable on the day. Please contact Bev Hollings on 01924 826130 or beverly.hollings@virgin.net.

I'M A CHURCH STEWARD, GET ME OUT OF HERE!

I'm a church steward - get me out of here!

This is a District away day for church stewards on Sat. 8 July 10.00-3.30.

It is a chance to take some time out with other stewards to reflect upon the joys and challenges of the role and be encouraged in your leadership and service.

The day costs £5 and booking is essential.
